Default Steve PLease, Review the Epson 960

IT's between the Epson 960 & Canon 9000 but i don't need prints as big as canon 9000 can make but it's cost is so much lower that it's Epson counter part "the 2200" might as well pay the extra for the 9000 over 900. I like steves' points that canon has changable user print heads, automated the choices the drivers make, optical ink level check & of course speed. Epson has the extra black carts, 3 way paper feed & has always been the staple for photo printing quilty.

I just received my Epson 960 last week. The Quality is awsome. It could ba a little faster. You can not see any dots.

I've got a couple of sample prints off the 960 from epson. I had to pull out the magnifying eypiece at 20x to see the dots and even then all I could see was densisty dot changes. IF you want I could scan and post one up for you.

Also I would more than appreciate a non biased view from steve about the epson 960 basing it entirely on its photo capabilities. I'm sick of reviews like cnet bashing.

Default where is it?

Why is this printer taking so long to get on the market? I been to computer stores and best buys and no Epson 960 which is funny since it was supposed to be out in september, then October and still nothing. This is a very important printer since it's for the series photo printer who doesn't need the expensive Epson 2200.

WEll you can get it directly from www.epson.com
I think the reason is because epson want to make the money on the printer itself first. Also they are releasing a couple of multifunctions this holday season.

If Steve does a review on the Epson 960 I wish he would compare it to the 2200.
