Office Depot is having a 1000th store celebration, and is offering a $50 mail in store rebate on the PIXMA 3000, 4000, or 5000. It's combinable with the Canon $20 rebate, they will take a photocopy of the UPC. In store price of the 3 model is $99, $149, $199 respectively.

Heres a link to the $50 rebate form: http://rebates.teg-online.com/office...fficedepot.com

I just downloaded the coupon and it says purchases made between 6/5 and 6/11 right on the coupon. After checking closer, that is the dates for sales in Alaska and Hawaii only. The rest of the country is 5/29 to 6/4 as you said. Thanks for the heads up!!

Well I just bought the 5000 from Office Depot. While I want to thank you for the heads up on the $50 rebate, it seems that they had a $120 rebate that expired yesterday . Thats right, $79 for the 5000 with an additional $20 rebate from Canon would have been a total of $59 for the Pixma 5000. Sniffle....

Actually, that $120 rebate was incorrect. It already took into account the $20 Canon rebate, and a $50 Office Depot rebate, but $120 off was a misprint (i.e, it should have been$70 off for $129, not $120 off for $79).

I purchased the printer, and saw a $20 Canon rebate. I asked about the remaining $100. The manager could only find another $50 rebate. Also found a $70 rebate IF you bought it with a computer...

Since she could only find $70 in rebates total, and not the remaining $50, she gave me $20 off. Still, all told, it'll work out to $110, and I've already gotten $20 off, the remaining $70 willbe via rebates.

Speaking of which you should have gotten a $20 mail in rebate as well.

I know this is a little late but it might help others that are search for deals:

I got an ip5000 on monday 5/30.

$199.99 online -30% coupon (found on www.fatwallet.com) = $169.99 total (picked up instore)

Manager then printed out the first $50 rebate but could not find the other $70 coupon (because it does not exist, printing mistake on hang tag). So she credited me $50 for the missing rebate and gave me the canon $20/$70 coupon.

Since I bought a mac mini a month ago I used that receipt in combination with the printer for the $70 rebate.

So my final total was -$00.01 for an ip5000 AR.

These deals seem to be happening more and more in the large chain stores.

Check out www.fatwallet.com, IMO it is the deal site to date.

Here is the original thread that sent me to the ip5000> http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/479144/

Remember fathers day is coming and Graduation sales too. There should be some good deals during the holiday.

Good luck with the $70 rebate; the fine print on that one, I believe, says both purchases must appear on the same receipt.

Not true.

Line 4 of the $70 rebate states:

"Attach a legible copy of your sales receipt(s) showing the eligible canon PIXMA Photo printer and the desktop or laptop computer purchased with the date(s) of purchase and the purchase prices circled"

Same for the camera/printer rebate. My first one has already been approved. And the camera was bought at staples and the printer at officemax.

Just waiting for my second to get the ok.
