So far I contacted US about a tray and they would not give me one even though I told them I purchased it in Europe. Instead of an email address they gave me a url which led me to nowhere. Anyone find the trays yet?

Printing CDs with the real tray + mod'd US version = very cool.
Because the inner tray assembly doesn't have the pickup rollers as the non-us version designed for CD printing, you have to push it in further than the arrows indicated for lineup. (look at the tray's embedded diagram)

As a result the printer with take the tray in/out a couple times to align it via the optical CDR sensors (foil tape, Al foil, -- the square sensors).

I don't have printable media yet so I just attach my labels to the media that has just been burned, using a neato CD stomper. WORKS GREAT!!

I did do one printable CDR. (see attached image)
(please no funny comments on the content!) :G
I need to adjust inner diameter ring for printable area.

I used Discus for Mac. The Canon CD Label is very weak. i.e. graphics can't be resized, when placed on the CD.

You can use anything you want if you
