Default Solvent head clear Cartridges

With all the talk about Epson heads clogging why doesn't someone invent a Special Solvent Cartridge that would dispence a solvent thru the print path and remove any clog. You casn flush the solvent after cleaning.

They do have those, but the solvent is trapped behind the clog and then you have to get the solvent out before it will print again.

An easier fix is to unplug the printer, GENTLY slide the print head to the left, place a few drops of Windex on the cleaning pad (the sponge thing located where the printhead parks) and then slide the head back and let it soak over night. The next day you will have a fully functional printer. I have done this many times and it works everytime.

The best thing to remember when it comes to clogs is prevention is better. The best prevention is to use the printer consistently. If an Epson sits for a month between printing it WILL clog.
