I'm printing on an HP Photosmart 7550. Using HP premium Plus Glossy paper. The ink seems to take forever to dry. The prints stick to the binder sleeves alot. Esp. if the is a large area of blackness on the print. Any ideas on quickening drying time?

Heat lamp? Fan?

Different paper?

For info only:

In the box of Premuim Plus I got there was a instruction sheet for using The HP Image Zone Express software. In the section after printing, it says tolay the print flat and wait for 7 days befor placing the photo in a frame or photo album.

HP prints have always seemed to take forever to dry. I think it is the HP paper and not so much the ink. They seem to remain just a little tacky forever.

You might try some Epson or Red River paper.

I no longer have a HP printer, so my information might not be up to date. I found anything but HP paper to dry better. I have used Red River papers for years and been quite happy with it. It also worked fine on my HP. I also had some Epson and Kodak that worked fine on the HP. I'm reluctant to recommend Kodak unconditionally because their new long lasting paper works on a different principal than their earlier papers and I haven't used it.
