Default Canon i850 Scratches in High Gloss Paper Finish??

Just bought a Canon i850s from Sam's.

I'm very happy with the quality of photo's however I have noticed that when using Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy I get subtle marks and scratches in the gloss finish of all photo's.

I have also tried Kodak Premium Glossy and Kodak Soft Gloss Paper and I don't see the problem on these papers. ( Unfortuately the Kodak doesn't make as good a photo as the Canon )

I figured I just had a printer with a problem so I exchanged it for another one but I can still see the marks.

If you just view a print straight on you don't notice this problem but if you turn the print so you are looking at the shine on the paper its fairly easy to see.

Not sure if you would see this with the print under glass or in a photo album.

Is this normal or not? Am I just being to critical? The Canon paper produces fabulous Color and sharpness but I don't understand this problem.

Any/All Advice appreciated. :?:

Try switching over to the epson premium luster paper. This paper will give you a satin feel and its also scratch resistent and should produce a near perfect print every time. The paper setting I would use would be film on the canon.
