Has anyone received the officalcd tray, and does it work correctly with the IP5000 US spec? I purchaseda traybut have not received it in the mail yet. Also what program does the best job of printing on dvd printablediscs that have a surface that extends to the center?

I have an offical "tray type B" and according to others it works just fine with the ip5000, or any pixma near as I'm aware.

CD label print supports printing damn near to the center so long as you create a new paper type. Come to think about it I should add that info.

Canon's CD label print works fine for me and here are the instructions for a FULL DVD: http://pixma.webpal.info/fulldvd/fulldvd.htm

yep the trays work great with my 5000. The rollers work awesome too.
