I have tested the inks in water on good and low end paper and neither ran after drying for justabout an hour. I did not sit them in a glass of water, but I did run them directly under the faucet with no reaction. This is not OEM ink, it's the ink that came with my IP5000.

Normally a brand new printer comes with OEM inks, at least my ip5000 came with Canon ink.
