I think Im gonna be keeping the Canon iP6000D and am planning on buying some ink. on www.resellerratings.com , the retailer www.digitgo.com has some pretty good reviews.

They have VERY competively priced after-market ink. What do u guys think of the ink from there?

I have an IP4000 (which uses the same ink) and got my ink from www.swiftink.com

Good price and great ink. I have been doing some testing on the ink and so far so good. I posted some things about the ink in the thread about setting up the printers for Cd/DVD printing.

I have been using cartridges from http://www.bulkinkjetcarts.com.

Prices are even lower than those other listed options, you can get toll free telephone ordering and support, and a poster named JV has done extensive and excellent testing of these cartridges on the nifty stuff forums. If nothing else, its worth a look. By the way, I again commend JV for his excellent work.

Got nothing against those other posted choices but many other ebay vendors are pigs in the pokes with some ebay vendors offering inks that are a poor color match. As for me, its just nice to find serious evaluations of a potential choices posted on a forum. Helps reduce the risk especially since getting economy requires the shipping costs be amortised out by making a fairly large order. Another problem with some ebay vendors is an inability to customise your order. Many photoprinters will use some cartridges at a far higher rate than other cartridges.

In terms of hobbicolors, I have been investigating their refill kits. I like their empty cartridges especially made for refilling and have found them very responsive to inquiries. At least for me, I want to be able to contact a potential vendor and get a feel for what happens when I have a problem or need support.----which is also why I am happy with bulkinkjetcarts also.

But the ip6000d being a dedicated photoprinter uses some colors the more usual
Canon types do not have, so you may discover not all vendors have all colors.
