I tryed the discusfree demo and was very pleased with the ease of use,I expanded the outside diameter to 120mm which left no white ring on the Verbatim disc i was using.I tryed some of free programs but none I found would allow the adjustment as well as the discus.

This is my test template:

1. import test.dat as a paper stock

2. open test.ncd, click disk 1 tab and choose test from the drop down menu.

3. Make sure that "preview before printing" is check in Canon properties so you can get an idea before you print. It's not fully accurate but it's pretty close.

I usually ignore the preview thing because it seems to be off, but i'll try to use it.
