Hi to all



I would like to know if anyone has any information about resetting the chip?



Has anyone re-inked the cartriges? without being able to reset the counter? if so what kind of result have you experenced.

I have reinked canon printer sinsce the bjc 600, currently use a i850, but am think about the current 5000.

I dont know if SSC provides solution for this?

the SSC utility near as I'm aware is an epson only program... while i've never tried it under canon it's stated on the website as being for the epson.

The i850 is like the ip3000... while i've not seen them side by side they share the same head.
The ip5000 is not chipped, the ip5200 is. And from my understanding you can re-ink the new canons as much as you want, you only have to disable the chip and agree canon is not responcible for the damage, at least from the description I get from other users. The issue is you gotta use the OEM tanks, or at the very least the OEM chips from those tanks.
