I hope you are not holding your breath Zakezuke , Stratman and Websnail........I know I`mnot...........and I will be very careful before I commit to any purchase from an unknown site for this highly sought after item, perhaps Inkmaster is having a joke, like he did when he first posted in this thread?........ If I am wrong , (and I sincerely hope I am ), I will be the first to apologise..................

Well, first I was not aware that 9star was the parent company who made G&G cartridges. But I know G&G can be purchaced though "alotofthings.com".
A0100 however does not seem to be a "Ninestar image Co" model as their cartridges seem to be prefixed with NE not A. NC-01001, the closest match i've found is for the w3000. Needless to say I can't verify the existance of "a0100" nor a "nc-0100" nor a "nc-00100".

Two possibilities spring to mind with this.

1. Headphonesman is right and this is just a daft joke..

or...

2. It's true but we can't access the information because the cartridges are not yet commercially available ie: still in testing..

I'd imagine there's some discussion regarding possible legal issues too assuming 2. is even remotely true.

Hi !

As for a fact i know that brands "G&G", "A0100" and the "red box"

are all from the same factory 9-star

when i order BCI-6 compatibles from 9-star i often get the Q

if i want G&G or A0100 or red box

so i´m 100 % Sure that all these brands are from 9-star.

they did a Quality test in a swedisch computer magazine on

Canon Compatible carts and they happened to test all 3 Brands

along with some others "print rite" "pelikan" etc.

And all G&G , A0100 and Red box got the exactly same result

off course they did, it is exactly the same ink inside them

the ink is "Formulab"

Thanks paniolo........................the best bit of info I have seen on this subject yet. Perhaps now the people who specialise in taking on this sort of thing through the courts will take up the challenge.

Just a suggestion but it would be better if you were to post a correction at the end of the thread rather than just editing your original post as that just confuses the heck out of people..

edit: Oh hold on, perhaps I missed your post on the next page due to the overlong urls that pushed the width out of range..

Most will miss it and/or question our sanity given that our responses no longer match anything you've got in your now edited post.

Bottom line though I understand that there are NOT any CLI-8 chipped alternative and it was all a mistake/typo...

Do you have a website which shows the cartridge marked "a0100". I'm curious whether this is a ninestar number or an in-house number.

I read the exchange of letters on the Atlas site and it is infuriating. But unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, it is not true. The situation seems to be that you can refill and continue to reuse the old chipped cartridges. If the printer really didn't allow their use refilled then there might be a legal case. I don't know what the story is with the Epsons, since people have chip resetters that work.

I was wrong the Wreal number is 0A100

No i could not find any website that shows in printed text

that they are selling 0A100

but many selling them but as 9-star brand and that is also correct

0A100 is a 9-star brand just as G&G, trust me

i´m so sure about this , just as sure as Canon Pixma 4000 uses

the BCI-6 carts.
