I have just bought a new Epson r220 to replace my r300. Thanks to your help I have now got the r300 working, sods law. I would like to store the r300 untill the garantee runs out on the 220. Whats the best way to stop the printheads drying out during this time,

When new they have a special fluid in the heads that won't evaporate readily -- probably some sort of glycol mixture.

Lacking something like this, it's best to fire the thing up occasionally and run a nozzle check.
