I'm in the same boat... I have the referb replacement but damned if I can remember where my paperwork is for the r200 I actually bought from office depot. I'm not too excited about the settlement but will accept it out of principle.

hell, I use the 3 dollar aftermarket replacement catridges for my epson R200, so this is fine easter present for me. Get a copy of sscserve and you can use the cartridges well beyord the warning limit regardless.

It's not a rebate! It's $45 in credit that you can use at the Epson e-store for anything you want and you don't have to pay a single dollar for anything other than shipping.

$45 sounds pretty good to me considering that I bought my Epson printer for $89. It also says you can get $25 in cash and an additional $20 in credit at the Epson e-store.

Compared to the usual class action settlement, I have to admit this looks pretty good.

I tried to use mine but got back that settlement benefits will be available no sooner thanlate fall of 2006. Their letter states benefits are not distributed until AFTER the court considers final approval on the settlement. So at this point nothing isguaranteed I guess. My R300 is in for repair (love the unit) and will see if theycan fix it or will send another. Went in for that pop up window that parts were at the end of their service life and stopped printing altogether.

bet ya 5 bucks when they do give out the rebates they only let you buy select epson printers marked up. If not it will be nice to get a spare r320 for when this one dies.disposable printers ... what next..
