Hi everyone

I have had my 890 for a few years and am pleased with the results and general reliability.

However, whenever I hit the stop button to cancel a print job, it takes forever to actually stop printing and disgorge the paper. I am on XP and this never seemed to happen with 98se

Any ideas out there please ?

Cheers

Bob

Probably it's doing the actual stop via the printer driver rather than the built-in firmware and XP uses a larger print buffer.

You might be able to reduce its size.

If it's really an issue, you can go into your printer properties dialog box in Control Panel and disable the print spooling. This should give quicker results. Will probably also increase your print imes, though.
