Hi,

First off, I work with a colour managed system at home and at work. My monitor is profiled and at work, using CS2 and the canned profiles from Ilford (yes, using Ilford Smooth Glossy), get spot on results with my i9900 (having just upgraded from my S9000 when it packed it in). However, using the same file at home (they look pretty identical on both home and office monitors), with no changes except for using the i5200 and Ilford profiles for the 5200 , I get much duller prints, almost down to a pastel like tone. I'm using OEM inks as both printers are only a couple weeks old.

I get the same results using Canon Photo Paper Pro and the canned profiles from Canon, the 5200 prints are way more dull compared to the 9900...and that's not the same results as Steve got in his review.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Stu
