Does anyone know of anybody who has ever made any money from stock photo sites such as "Shutterstock"? If so which ones are the best and what kind of photos received the most "hits"?

I submitted some photos to one of these sites and most of them were rejected for , in their words, "having little commercial value" I realize that my photos may have been a bit artsy but there must be some stock photo site that appreciates the unusual and offbeat like most of the photos taken by the great members of Steve's.

Try http://www.deviantart.com
They have a sales area that lets you sell prints. I have a Pro friend that sells quite a few there.

$300-$500 a month with 900+ photos in gallery. All photos must go through a acceptance process.

Yeah. I don't know very many people on here. So can't say what the motives sarrody has. But I felt the same way.
