Just wondering if anyone is using this noise reduction software. I've watched the demos and it's approach seems appealing to me.

Wondering how it does compared to the other favored programs, Noiseware, NoiseNinja, and Neat Image.

Is it worth the money?

Hi Becky,

I have the older version of DeFine and I use it when needed. It is a very good program that can save a photograph if it has to much noise and jpg. artifacts. I like it a lot.

I can't tell you much about the newer 2.0 but if it is as good as the 1.0 it is well worth the $$$$ spent for it.

The NIK website has a free triail for 15 days that you can try it before you buy it.

thank you for the input.

Considering how many programs there are for treating digital noise....deciding which program to purchase is not an easy choice!

I watched the tutorials on Niks web site, and they seem very do-able.

Thanks again

Becky
