Default Crop Tool with golden lines and spirals

Hi all!

I've recently written a Photoshop script that simulates crop tool with Golden Ratio (and Golden Spiral) guidelines. Maybe someone would find it interesting.

Direct Download: http://goldencrop.sourceforge.net/download.php
Requires: Photoshop CS2, CS3 or CS4
License: GNU GPL -- it is free!
Project Homepage: Golden Crop WWW

Hi all! There's a new version of the Golden Crop script available Download from http://goldencrop.sourceforge.net/download.html

What's new?:

  • New composition method: Diagonal Rule

  • User customizable line thickness
  • New translation: German
  • Faster layers creation
  • Lines are more visible on a dark background (white stroke added)
  • User-friendly error information is shown when there is no open document

I'd appreciate any feedback!

Hi all! There's a new version of the Golden Crop script -- 0.91 beta Download from: Golden Crop for Photoshop - Download

Added: Spanish translation

I'm looking for someone who would like to translate the script to some new language. Credits will be given. Any voluntaries?

Hi all! There's new version of the Golden Crop script -- 0.92 beta
Download from: http://goldencrop.sourceforge.net/download.html

Added:
* New translation: Russian, thanks to Vlad Kovnerov
* Hold Ctrl+Shift (Command+Shift on Mac) for auto crop (when existing crop mask found)

For now, the script is available in five localized versions. If You want to help creating new translations drop me a line. No programming skill needed. Credits will be given. Any voluntaries?

I downloaded this script, and must say, didn't know what to do with it. There were all these lines running all over the place, and.... ?

I don't want to criticise, but for the life of me it was all so confusing that I just dumped it...

This is such a good idea that I would buy Photoshop Elements just for the sake of try it. I've always liked the aurea proportion and it's been a pita to get it without a dedicated tool.
