Default Resize Plugin

I've done a search of the forum with no luck. Maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing. Can anyone point me to a link or tutorial on a resizing action.
For the most part I have my 4x6 prints done at Wallgreens. I dont usually crop my prints.(old school habit, I crop in the veiwfinder)
Anyways it would be great if there was an action to resize to 4x6 horizontal or 6x4 vertical.
Thanks
Rick

Could you be a little clearer on what you want to do? Are you trying to size UP to 4 x 6 or DOWN to it?

I just want to resize down to 4x6. I have found a tutorial on making photoshop actions.
Not much could be simpler.
Thanks
Rick

I know this was an old thread, but here is something I found recently that might help others. It's only for Windows XP and you need to know the pixel size rather than inches but it makes it VERY easy.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/h.../powertoys.asp

Go to that link at microsoft and to the right download "image resizer". Only takes a minute. once it's installed you can just right click on a file, select "resize" and it brings up a window with a few default sizes or a "custome" choice where you can input the size you want.

I use photo resizer lite from this linkhttp://showyourphotos.com/
It is a free download, but you have to know the pixel size
