Default Polarizing Filter Plugin

I noticed when I was going through my trip pictures, that the sky had been washed out of some of the pictures. Is there anyway I can get the blue sky back? Might there be a polarizing filter pluggin that I could apply to reduce the washed out sky? Thanks...

Using masking and layers, you can saturate the sky or even change the color.

ohenry stated the technique in as few words as I have ever seen.

Exactly how you do that fills the content of several forums and web sites. Go looking for the specific techniques in places that deal with the editor you have.
