I created two actions to remove chroma noise. One is targeted for high-frequency chroma noise, another is targeted for low-frequency chroma noise.

High frequency chroma noise is more noticeable, they are usually noise you notice on unprocessed RAW files.

Low frequency chroma noise resembles color blotches, and are the residues effect left by the in-camera Noise reduction processing on high-iso images.

If you have Photoshop CS2, the built-in noise reduction will do a pretty good job already, but it falls a bit short if the noise is too much for it to handle. You can use the Chromas noise remove hi freq action to do a better job.

The Low frequency action is really good, it performs better than both Photoshop and Imagenomic's Noiseware.
