Does anyone happen to know what Epson Best photo is about? as I have two choices on my Epson Stylus Photo RX520. Photo and Best Photo.

I cant see any difference but Best Photo takes about twice as long to print so it must be doing something. I print up to A4 from my Nikon D40X and a Panasonic FZ7.

Thanks for your comments.

What paper are you printing on? If you are unable to see a difference between Photo and Best Photo settings, it may be the paper. The Best Photo setting should give you considerable better detail, assuming your pictures have the detail in them.

Another consideration is the format. You will probably not see as much difference in a JPEG as you would in a non-compressed format such as TIFF.

Thanks VTphotog,

I do use Epson Premier glossy paper so it must be the jpeg I guess.
