Default Konica Minolta Magicolor 2200 DeskLaser

We keep getting an error that says "Main Unit Cover Open", which obviously means that one of the covers on the printer is open. The only thing is, we opened and closed EVERYTHING onthe entire printer, including all of its internals.

Can anyone help me solve this problem??

I had the same problem and discovered that the front door gets bent if not opened evenly. There is a pice of plastic on the right side, inside the door that must connect with a switch indie. put a pice of tape on the end of it then shut the door. To test it first, just apply pressure to the right side of the front door, pusing it in, and see if the message goes away.
