Default Color intensity settings on inkjet printer

At the end of December last year I got the Canon BJ F9000, the local version of the interantion S9000. :P About ten days ago it stopped functioning. :? I have no complaints with the service. I sent it by delivery service to Canon on Monday and got it back on Thursday morning with a new printhead and logic card.

When I did a test print I noticed that, on the colour intensity printout, all five colours were optimized at -1  while black was left at zero. I can only assume that the technicians at the service center had a reason for this.

Does anyone have any suggestions why they may have done this :?:

Regards
