A great place to go for printer problems is www.fixyourownprinter.com

they have service manuals and user fourms. I've fixed my magicolor 2200 with their advice before. Now that printer is folding the paper before it comes out of the printer.

Good Luck,

Did you ever figure out the folding problem? My printer just started that trick?

I just found your post. I have the same message ...Service call F1, on my minolta 2200. did you ever figure out how to fix it yourself?? I have been able to get it to work a couple times by playing with the contacts on the top cover, but now no luck.
