Hi,

I have problems when printing CD labels or directly on CDs in terms of colors.
What I see on screen is not what I get printed.

The problem is only with Nero, I have no problem if I print the same image loaded on Nero using Photoshop.

Does Nero Cover Designer use color profiles so that I can match them to the ones of my Canon i865 printer?

Otherwise, I will have to abandon this program in favour of Photoshop, I guess there is some plug in around that will allow me to create CD labels, covers or printing directly on CD also from Photoshop.

Thanks for your comments.

Cheers
Alex

Just a suggestion but you might want to try this ...its sooo much better and easier as well just right click insert text or insert string to insert images...been using for years it'll auto list yer pics or prgrams on the case for you and highly customizable

Code:
www.cdrlabel.com

A 'dodge' I came across I thought I would mention using a Canon ip5000.

Using either Media Face 4 or Sure Thing label maker, to get I direct CD print I simply design the cover then export and save as a jpeg file, then going over to the Canons CD print I import from that file and can do further work on it if needed.

I do have Nero but never used the designer, thought I would just pass that on incase it helps.

Hi guys,

Luckly for me, I found, apparently, the solution to my problem.

I have re-installed the whole Nero application and now it looks OK, the colors are similar to what i see

Thanks for your suggestions, I got good ideas from them as well!

Cheers
