I don't print my own pictures anymore, now tha I can get them mailorder for 12 cents each, but all of the mailorder/web printing services that I know of only print standard print sizes. Where can I go to get oddball sized prints like panoramas?

Hi there,
I have the same question. I have a pano here to be printed with aspect ratio 1:4,6 and I aim for about 50x200cm or so.

So far I did lots of web researches and found plenty of companies but would be interested to hear personal recommendations and hints.

Regards,
Th.

Such an easy matter to address!

You can print whatever size prints you want from anyone. You are only limited by paper size. I so it for almost every print I order. Say you want to get a 12"x36" pano, but that is not an offered size.

Say they offer a 24"x36". All you have to do is create a new 24"x36" document with the same ppi and copy and paste the pano into that document. There you go, 12"x36" print no problem. Trimming the excess, takes only seconds. Usually what I do to do the least amount of trimming and whatnot is order multiple images on one print. In my example, you'd get two copies for the price of the one print. I've done this once with resulting 20"x60" prints...it was amazing. I sold the extra one which ended up paying for mine as well.

Best of luck!

Any more questions on how to do it, just ask, I'd be glad to help.:-)
