Hi everyone, first of all thanks for the helpin the other forums (I did the waste ink mod for the Epson r300).

I am trying now to get my head round the best setup to print from i.e. settings in Qimage and settings on the printer software.

Currently I have in qimage the prt icc profile as printer RGB but I know some of the qimage info said to turn this off (they seem to be my only 2 options i.e this profile or off). All other settings are default in qimage.

In the printing preferences for the epson R300 I am using .....

Colour management = ICM with No colour adjustment unchecked - high speed and edge smoothing are turned off. Printing mainly 6x4s on Epson premium glossy with a CIS system with OCP dye ink. The quality is pretty good but I think it could be better.

I was really just looking for other peoples experiences to find the optimum settings and wanted to know is it worth me playing around with the other colour managment settings i.e. photo enhance etc. or do the qimage settings override wha tI set in the printer driver software or viceversa. I was going to do mass of prints to compare but now seeing all the different permutations I think I could be here some time.

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.

Thanks,

Martin
