I recently added Lightroom 2 and Qimage to my Photoshop CS3 and am trying to configure everything to work together. My biggest problem is with my Epson 1280 printer profile and ICC Epson colorlife profiling. The latest driver (10/20/04) doesn't have Colorlife ICC profiles, but i downloaded then from another site but don't know what folder to store them in so they are accessible within the Printing set up in Qimage. Also...........which is better: let Printer or Photoshop manage the printing?

Thanks for your consideration.

Welcome to the forums.

We have a dedicated Printing - Qimage Support Forum Setup where you may be able to find some tips.

So, I've moved this thread there for you.

Could you let me know where you got the profiles and/or what the name of the profile (file) is? I ask because some old Epson profiles will only work in the driver and not in the printing software. This article may help in any case:

Thanks.....I also found an article in Computer Darkroom and with your recommended article, it helped me put the profiles in. Now I can use Qimage setup with the proper profile and it prints out great; even better when I fixed the "doubling up" color management problem I got myself into. Thanks again.
