Default Qimage on Mac with Parallels

I have not used Qimage in a few years having stopped using WIndows and deciding to use ImagePrint with an Epson 4800 printer.
The printer is gone and I will get an Epson 3880 tomorrow.

I installed Qimage using Parallels and have a couple of questions that I hope can get answered.

1. I will install the Mac drivers from Epson and capture the printer in Parallels - so I do not have to install Epson WIndows drivers - right?

2. Do I install paper profiles in Windows or in Mac?

Thanks for any help.

Qimage is a Windows program and needs Windows printer drivers and profiles. I print all my photos using Qimage, so I let the Virtual Machine capture the printer. I have never tried letting my Mac capture the printer and then try to print from Windows. Probably would work, if I shared the printer, but I would still need Windows printer drivers.

Regards,
Dick

Thanks Dick. I got my printer a week ago and have it up and running now. I am using Qimage. I installed drivers and profiles for both Mac and Windows. I installed the profiles in the Mac side because I want to soft proof in PS.
