Is here any way using Qimage to set it so that the date the picture was taken is printed on the picture,as the Canon software allows. I am now using a Canon iP5000. Thanks

Using the Page Editor button ordrop-down link ("Page"-> "Edit Page") you can add"floatingtext" by clicking on the "A" in the Page box. This page includes specialtext to include the date and other image info. I'm assuming the date is taken from the Exif info, but it may be the file date.

I found another way, and that is to double-click the photo, choose

'Info Stamp" under "Image Effects", and select the date only. You can also select the font size and position of the date and click apply.

Kanji,

Nice find. I'll have to givethat a try. I think floating text might have the advantage of being able to print your info anywhere, includingmargins, which would be of little benefit if you are printingboarderless. Leave it to Mike to provide many ways of doing useful things.
