Hi,* I would like to print a 2 cm (or any size) black border (yes, it will waste ink) then a little 1 to 2 mm white frame around my pictures. Is this possible in QImage, and if so how? Many thanks.Cheers, Fons.

Yes. You can set the border color to black and set your border size (below the preview page). Then pick a print placement option (like Optimal/Spaced) that spaces your images as far as possible. That will give you the black border you want and you can simply cut 1-2mm from the edge of the black border giving you a white border.

Hi Mike,

thanks for the reply. What I try to achieve is to print like this:

http://fons.rademakers.org/india-200...2006-0018.html

where the photo itself is surrounded with a little white border on a black background.

From your reply I understand that you place the white border on the outside of the paper.

Many thanks.

OK, I see that you want the white border on the inside. What you would do in this instance is set your page background to black (the page background button is under the preview page) and then set your border color to white and set the border size to something small. That should do it, although you would have to waste a little ink since the entire page will be black except for your photos and their borders. Still, it can be done.

Hi Mike,

just tried the 25x series and love what you have done to make these dual borders easy.

Keep up the great work.

Cheers, Fons.
