Default 8x10 print size problem???

Hi Mike and all,
When I select the 8x10 print size option, using Qimage, I get a message that states "the selected print size is larger than one page. do you want the photo to span multiple pages?" I have my Canon i950 print drive set for 8.5x11 paper, so logically it would seem that an 8x10 print would fit on that one page. I must be missing something in my set-up proceedure. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks. Curt

Under Windows XP, the printable area (listed above Qimage's preview page) for the i950 is reported as 8.00 x 10.68. If you have a different driver version that is reporting the printable area as 7.99 x 10.68, an 8x10 print will not fit. Some older Canon drivers had this problem (were not able to print a full 8.0 inches across) but I have not heard of this problem on the i950. The solution is to just print a 7.99 x 10 and no one will know the difference. Note that this is a printer/driver limitation not a Qimage limitation.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply here and "there"! :-) Was kinda "going crazy" a bit trying everyone's suggestions on a problem that defied logic! Maybe Canon will in fact update their drivers, as others have written which might include borderless 8x10. Will keep our fingers crossed. In the meantime, thanks for the easy solution. Curt
