Simple...

Coolpix 99x/4000/5000 series cameras, using a DigiSnap 2000 controller with external power modification, or a DigiSnap 2500 or 2800 which already have external power capability.

The cameras have live video output, 3.3 - 5 MPixel. The DigiSnap controllers will keep the camera awake, can control the zoom and shutter, and are quite small.

Way too easy of a question!
