My brotherbought Media Street Niagara III bulk system over a year ago from inkjetgoodies for his S9000. He's been very happy with it and has had no problems. If you have more specific questions, I will relay them to him and get the answers for you.

Can't answer re: Canon, but the Media Street OEM replacement ink is as good as or better than Epson cartridges. This is for older, dye-based Epson.

I did have trouble with the pigment based inks, but that was because I did not print something every day, and again, that was on an Epson printer well known for print head clogging.

Any bulk system will beat carts as long as it maintains its integrity (air leaks being a bad thing.) The freedom from changing carts alone is great, plus the per-page costs are so low, you can print anything and everything you want in color.

Plus, because you can pick and choose inks, you can get superior results, if you want to pony up for the more expensive inks.

My brother says he could detectNO difference between Niagara III ink and Canon ink. He hasn't tried different inks in the system so can't help you with that info. After the bulk system is set up, you will need to flush the system if you change inks.
