We have received a copy of the Nikon Coolpix SDK, and I'm trying to program against it, however, C++ is not my native language. We are trying to program a Visual Basic application against the libraries to access the funcitonality and control the camera from a remote interface. (Basically, trying to figure out how these C++ functions work, so we can return previews to VB controls and send control commands to the C++. )

We've got a Nikon Coolpix 8800 hooked up to use with it. I can get the sample application to run, but I don't know where to start with the SDK Maid Module.

Does anyone have an sample code or insight as to where to get started with this? I'm stumped! Thanks in advance!

Maybe I can help.
I had the same problem with D70 maid module, because destination application was written in Delphi. I wrote wrapper from C++ to object pascal and it works.
Can you send me your SDK on my e-mail?
If yes I will get you my address.

I am interested in getting a copy of the CoolPix SDK for some lab work I am doing for Intel. Do you know where I could get one?

See that you have written a wrapper from C++ to pascal.

Can you share the sourcecode with me? My C++ is not 'very well developed'.

I hope to learn about translation from the c++ structs to delphi object pascal.
