You can find 2 great photo editing freeware programs at this link ...

http://www.hotrodsandclassics.net/software.htm

The resizing software can batch re-size any quantityof photo files and to any quality you choose and it leaves your originals intact and saves the re-sized images in any folder you designate. You can add borders, do cropping and add text. This program is XP compatible and the price is right.... FREE - Do some experimenting with the re-sized image quality - if the photo is for the web keep the new file resolution lower and if it is for archives or printing keep it high

The bulk rename utility by Jim Wilsher is a extremely flexible and easy to use bulkre-naming utility - it will change add or modify extentions and prefex's. Very cool and a lot of great features and again the price is right.this software runs in XP andthe price is right, but you could lay a little change on the author for his time if you like it.

I am sure you will love these great programs as I do ............let me know what you think about them
