Ricoh Caplio RZ1 autofocus

Just been looking at the Ricoh Caplio RZ1 and noticed that it doesnt have an autofocus window with the 2 autofocus blubs. Every other Caplio camera has it. Just wondering if thats the way its meant to be? How does it autofocus? Does it use a different technology? I find it odd as every other camera I have seen (both Caplio and other brands) do have the window with the autofocus bulbs.

Any ideas why??
