Question NX1000 - Manual Focus with adapted (not NX) lenses ?

I would like to use NX 1000 with NX/M42 adapter and M42-system lenses.
How to manually sharp (how to turn and use MF Assist - zoomed lifeview with non-NX lenses???)

That is the same issue I posted, but got no replies. I used a Pentax lens for the Rose photo and would like some information on how to use focus assist with a non Samsung lens?

For NX1000 select (in menu) MF 5x or 8x magnification ... if you are focusing press OK and magnification will be 5x or 8x.

For NX300 same, but you also get additional red (or green or white) borders if picture is sharp.
