HZ10W (in Europe WB500) sure isa fantastic camera - first "pocket thing" with such a wideangle zoom, I know from my NV24.
NV100 (is said) takes not soooo good videos (1280x720) - my NV24 videos are very good, stereo sound also - and I hope, HZ10W can repeat this. |

can you tell if this has a lens cap or auto shut doors? every pic i've seen of the front has the lens extended and not closed.. hmmmm. i hope it's not lens cap.

I wrote Choi JunYong, the photographer that put together the well-done page at http://tinyurl.com/7eupza and he told me:
"The Samsung is definitely at advantage when it comes to the zoom range(24mm~240mm) and HD video recording capability. However, the WB500's manual settings feel half-baked, unlike the Canon G10 which offers a variety of manual shooting options. You'd be better off with the G10 if you prefer manual photography. However, again, if you want a wide zoom range as well as great HD video, the WB500[HZ10W] would be the choice. Overall, the picture quality of the two are very similar." |
