Samsung HMX-U10, some questions

Hi,

i think about buying this camera, it looks quite good.
But there are some things that i'm very interested in before, if anybody could give me a hint that would be great:

Can i remote-control this camera by USB or any other interface?
So to say do things like "Record", "Stop", ...?
If additional things like "Zoom" / "Change Settings" are possible that would also be great.

I don't want to use the camera as a web cam or so, i'd like to control it from a PC and record full-HD.

Does anybody know if this is possible?

There is a down loadable manual at it's mini website, but information in the manual, the product info and the website documents don't agree with each other, so we still don't now.

As a hybrid camera, we have been discussing it int the hybrid forums. We have links there:

if the cam is supplied with a remote control, you will be able to work it in tvplayback of a tv, not the pc

4x digital zoom it is seperate touchpad buttons, and correct no remote control, hts a neat cam that has limitations. a few set stills/vids like beach sport, and that to some are a teaser

Ive got one in my hand and according to the spec and basic manual it has no zoom?! Different spec for different countries?

Actually stand corrected, whilst recording if I push the W and T on the Touch pad it does zoom. Just makes the picture even worse than normal. I can see this thing going on Ebay or in the botto of my drawer

Digital zoom is not to be used only around 40%

1 this is not a professional cam

2 no hybrid cam will be remote on a pc, through the usb,
