When I compare the specs of the CG6 and CG65 side-by-side on Sanyo's site, the only difference I see is that the CG65 uses MPEG4 AVC while the CG6 uses regular MPEG4 (ASP).

Is this truely the only difference? Is everything else identical?

After reviewing many videos shot from a CG6, I decided that it's the type of hybrid I want to get. So I figured, why not get the "better" codec in the CG65 if all else is equal?

I have the CG65 but have never used the C6. I think they are the same except for the codec H.264. I did have a C5 and it was okay. The CG65 is superior in many respects, low light, in camera editing etc. You'll like the CG65, I think.
