Default Sanyo Xacti CG10 vs HD700 vs HD100?

I'm upgrading from a C40 and looking for an Xacti that does HD video and decent stills for around $200. I've been really happy with the Xacti and will be handing it off to my daughter. I've narrowed it down to the CG10, the HD700, and the HD100. I'll be using it mostly for short clips to post to my blog, videotaping the kids, the occasional vacation shoot. I like the slimness of the CG10, but the HD100 is available for $170. I know the newer models take higher capacity storage, but I think 8gigs should handle most of my needs. Is there any compelling reason I shouldn't go with the HD100? Is the HD700 substantially better? Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
