Default Sanyo hd2000 4 gb limit....any way to surpass it

Hello guys, is there any way to bypass the 4gb limit of the sanyo camcorder ? It seems that the sanyo when creating the new file, lose about 6-10 seconds of video.

Is there any way to bypass this limit ?
thank you

fat32 is a microsoft thing and not a sanyo thing. fat32 partition only allowes maximum 4gb files. There is no way to fix this problem. It is also sanyo's fault because they should adopt ntfs or ext3 with terabyte max limits.

The reason why fat32 is used is because it is the defacto standart with nobody wanting to adopt new partitions.

SOrry for poor grammer.

If you format the card to ntfs (which is possible in windows) and you put the card into the xacti, you will notice it will not pick it up at all.
