Default Better for Video

I have been slowley experimenting with my HD1010..What frames per second is better or recommended for say normal video outside or at the beach..30 or 60 and what effect does it have on the video..I am still a Newbie and am reading manual and experimenting..Thanks for your Patience

For normal people talking type video 30fps is adequate. If you have fast moving subjects like dogs running, car racing etc 1280X720 60fps Frames/sec would be better. (not to be confused with 1920X1080 60fps Fields/sec interlaced video. 60 Fields/s =30 Frames/sec)

The 60 frames/sec also gives you a smoother video if you decided to try a slow motion effect when editing your video.

I find myself using 720/60fps mode a lot of the time. It's the same mode I tend to use on my Aiptek GVS as well. Having said that I am using the 1080p/30fps mode more and more since for regular family use the frame rate is adequate and of course you get the higher resolution/bitrate.
