Hello,
I was wondering if any might have an answer to why the power button on my remote for the xacti hd2000 does not work it is a 3 day old camera, every other function on the remote works fine.

Does it have a Cradle that you use with it..The power button might only work with it in the cradle..I think my hd1010 only works like that

nitti48 is right. The power button on the HD2000 remote only works with the camcorder sitting in the cradle with AC power on. It is non-functional otherwise.

Your absolutely right it only works when in the cradle...shame, would be nice if it worked while on my tripod.
