So does anyone know what the 60FPS playback mode is all about. It is advertized in sanyo's press releases and averts, but the manual does not talk about it or indicate in the manual specs how one turns this feature on. Or is just inherent to the operation to the camera. Seems strange that they hype this a s anew feature, but dont document it.

It only takes effect when outputting to a regularTV. NTSC TV is 60 interlaced fields per second.The C6 records movies at 30 frames per second. Whenthe C6 outputs video to the TV it willconvert the 30 frames per second to 60 interlaced fields per second, whichis supposed to make video looksmoother when output to the TV. How well this works, only owners can qualify.
