I have a C6 and everytime I take a picture no matter what type of lighting it is, I keep getting tremendous amount of Red Eye. Is there anyway to control that?I have adjusted multiple settings on the camera but have not been able to do it. and I don't want to sit in front of my computer for an hour adjusting it on the software that is provided by Sanyo. Please advise. Also if this question has been already answered please let me know so I can find it. Thanks.

There does seem to be a problem with a lot of red-eye
on the c6, but at least they have provided a solution.
Set the camera to "play," go into the menu, and select
the red eye elimination. Then step through the pictures
running the program on each frame with red eyes. It will
ask "save original?" and at first I did, thinking I might
perform better post-processing later, but now I don't bother
any more, since it does a rather good job. As smart as
the program is for marking the eyes with red squares, it
doesn't do as well on portrait format, as it does on landscape.
