i got my CA6 Replacement today, and it came without any dead Pixel. Also the Power-On problemvanished.

So the overall service of Sanyo seems to be very good.

I'm in US. I find the CA6 only availabe for pre-order. Any vender have the have products in stock and really to ship?

September 06, 2006 was the first shipment of the Xacti CA6 in the US market. So, the pre-order status should be eliminatedby Monday.

Also, please note, that the silver/black model that is shown in the posts above this is not available in the US market. Only the White/Orange 'VPC-CA6OR'model has been imported.

Too bad! I have a VPC-CA6 pre-order from amazon.com 2 weeks ago. They haven't processed my order and I need my camera by monday. I'll go to Italy next week and I hope I can bring the CA6 with my trip.

Good news! I talked to Joe in Warehouse123.com. They have the VPC-CA6 in stock and it will only take 2 days for delivery. Should be able to receive my new camera by monday. I'm going to cancel my pre order from amazon and order from them.

Their VPC-CA6 will come with free spare battery, mini tripod and soft case. Price is only $339 and It is the best price I have found.

MP4,.....After you get your camera, will you let us know your impressions?

What sort of warranty did the vendor offer you? I don't think they are an "authorized" Sanyo dealer?

Does the screen swivel? Is that a problem for you?

One post said the screen was exposed at all times,....is that true.

Lightning fast delivery, I receivied my camera yesterday! I'm going on vacation today with this little candy. I hope to take some pictures and make some posts while I travel to Italy.

The screen is completely exposed and it will get scratched easily. I'm not sure why Sanyo did that........I want to get a turn around LCD display.

But my package comes with screen protector and camera. I believe my camera will get well protected.

Just find the CA6 can't attach tripod because there is no hole. I'm not sure why they provide a free mini tripod. :lol:

I got my VPC-C6 last year and I dropped it in the Santa Monica beach. I'm glad to get this CA6 for replacement. I can say their performance are almost the same. I like the outlook of the C6 but I love the weatherproof feature of CA6.

Overall, it is another affordable good camera from Sanyo.
